As a playwright Bella’s work has been featured in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
Her ten-minute play,“Puzzled,” was featured in The Classic Journal vol.9 no. 2.
An early draft of her play Cheer! was selected by Horizon Theatre to be the qualifying work for 2024's Young Playwright's Festival. Horizon Theatre also commissioned a 5 min play as apart of the same season.
Since then, Cheer has received two grants from UGA's Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities for both Playwrighting and New Play Production. Cheer was performed at Town and Gown in Athens, GA as apart of their Second Stage Series. As well as a staged reading as apart of North Georgia’s New Play Festival.
Bella hopes to uplift the voices of queer women. She aims to utilize taboo topics and the feeling of uncomfortability to widen the world's perspective of humanity through her writing.
